Luján de Cuyo is one of the 18 departments of the province of Mendoza. Is located in the zone Center - North of the province, to single 18 km (city of Mendoza). Modern, progressive and in constant expansion, its colorful landscapes and their cultural characteristics, invites at the tourism all the year. It was created as village and demarcated your limits as department. In 11 of May of 1855 and in 1949 this village, was declared city. Their 12 districts are: Ciudad, La Puntilla, Carrodilla, Chacras de Coria, Vistalba, Potrerillos, Mayor Drummond, Las Compuertas, Agrelo, Perdriel, Ugarteche and El Carrizal.

In each one of these districts diverse landscapes can be found, from those of the vineyards and warehouses to the mighty mountain and rivers.

Also it is worth to emphasize the hand of the man when seeing the docks, dams, museums, seats, churches or simply the city head.
